Is it possible for a cow to be too purple?
Ever since I wrote the book ‘Purple Cow’ I’ve been asking myself a crucial question, is it possible for a cow to be too purple?
Is it sometimes better for a cow to be black and white, or simply brown?
I’m sure you’ve understood by now that I’m not talking about cows, but about the risk one takes when one is too different.
The questions you have to ask yourself is, how many of your customers are the purple kind, and can you afford alienating people who simply don’t like the colour purple?
Do the math, and then decide.
